Why did God create Humans?
Why did "God" create humans in the 1st place? What was the point? Or any other life for that matter? (assuming here the creationist view of things)
I mean he seems to have got on fine without us for all eternity before he supposedly created man; why the sudden urge to have lesser creatures than himself? I mean he supposedly had a heaven full of angels of varying descriptions already adoring and praising him. Does God have such a self-image problem that he needs to have humans "worship" him in some way? Just what does he do with all that worshipping stuff going on all the time? What does he need it for? I'm not sure what any religious apologetics have to say on the issue, beyond the standard "man cannot know the mind of God" tripe. Based on the track record of the human race so far, if God wanted unconditional love and adoration, he should have done much better to have created an entire race of Cocker Spaniels. |

WHY....?
1.There isn't any "god". = a human, manmade fiction.
2. (therefore) "he" (sic) did not create humankind, nor anything else. |

God created man to fellowship with him, i.e., God wanted a friend.

If we're the best he could manage, he either has no imagination, has WAAAYYY too much time on his hands, or we give him too much credit.

Genesis 2:15
And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. So there's your answer. Man was created to do the yard work, spread the fertilizer, wack the weeds, mow the lawn. |

God created humans out of love. He wanted people to have a relationship with Him and share in His wonders. He wanted people that He could love, and they could free willingly love Him back in return.
