Wow. So, according to Yahya (in the "Why Evolution?" section), religous zealots who blow up buildings are actually atheists in disguise. Who knew? Their motivation for doing this, if they didn't believe in an afterlife, would be what exactly?

The vast conspiracy he's come up with involving Greek philosophers, communists, scientists and Islamic extremists reads kind of like the plot for that movie "Pi". An excellent film, don't get me wrong, but not exactly what I'd base my system of belief around.

* 'Slartibartfast' came from Douglas Adams wanting:

a) a name that would piss off the poor girl who was typing up the scripts for HHGTTG, usually minutes before transmission... hence, when she was desperate to know why the hell she was typing this, Slartibartfast says "My name is not important", and

b) wanting as rude a name as he could get away with on radio; the original version was Phartiphukborlz (or similar).
