I sure get a kick out of Christians who try to distance themselves from those other Christian groups they think have crazy beliefs. "I believe that Jesus is god and that he resurrected from the dead and all that, but I'm not wacky like those other Christians". Wacky is as wacky does. Thanks for the chuckle. |

Hate to break this to you Fenton but----
I am a Christian---I believe that Christ existed and died on the cross and was resurrected. And I have very little in common with nut case fundies. It is a big world-with a lot of opinions -even among atheists--who cannot themselves even agree about much of anything. Agnostic, strong atheist, weak atheist-------come on now--sounds like Baptists arguing with Episcopalians and both arguing with Lutherans. And Catholics arguing with everyone. ============and of course the one thing they do have in common is the same thing that Christians have in common----==it is us against them. |

"I'm an atheist - oh, but I'm not an Objectivist." I'm an atheist - oh, but I'm not an anarchist." Yes indeed, "wacky is as wacky does." Thankyou for the chuckle. |

If diversity in any ideology is a problem to anyone I say again...vive la difference. Do we truly wish for a world where all think the same without any nuances to reflect personal individuality ? I certainly do not.....I appreciate nuances and differences for they enhance the need mankind has to seek truth.
So.... good thing that there are different levels in atheism as well as in theism. |
