Hey there Amie!

It's a shame we can't have avatars here. I do so love my Smartie-munching rat/roo/mouse/whatever.

I apologise for his causing a distration. You'd think he'd swallow once in a while.

It is good to have that kind of freedom. Quite often, though, discussions here either get a little bit too narky for my tastes (even though I'm usually on the side of those being narky), and sometimes threads are a tad overly-intellectual for knuckle-dragging little ol' me.

It's a trade off, I suppose.

I was warned once by TheBear, but he's one of the more reasonable mods. I can't remember what the warning was for, but at the time I thought that it was a fair call.

Cheers,
Prax

yeah some of the mods aren't so bad...although I got a warning from gunnysgt the day he became a Mod which I thought was pretty ridiculous because it took place involving a discussion he and I were in a week *before* while he was still a member and no other Mod had a problem with the discussion... My posts were ultimately deleted along with several other members. such is life I guess and I am not on too much so its really no big deal.

GunnySgt a mod! That's enough to make the blood run cold. Rarely have I seen someone so overtly bigoted and prejudiced. What can Erwin have been thinking?

That kind of behaviour should not be acceptible. I don't suppose you reported it? Probably not worth the hassle.

I have steered well clear of GunnySgt.

Annabel is ressurrecting Jezebell. Oh my, we are done for now. Do you want to mentiuon her ex husband? Hi Amie. Hi Rae (you did so turn him into a newt, I saw you!) For those who haven't figured it out, I'm Brimshack, and yes, I REALLY miss my own avatar.

Oh well. For the record, I've been treated fairly well at CF, with a few specific exceptions. The current trends are rather off-setting though. With the exception of TheBear, the better moderators don't seem to be as active lately. It's getting so they might as well copy Landover's tag line: "Unsaved are not welcome."

Hi Prax
yeah i opened a thread about it in suggestions only *after* I got nowhere with gunny and after the 2 other mods told me they did not think my posts or several other members should have been deleted...
so I opened a thread in the suggestion forum and my thread was seen as arguing publicly so it got deleted...

same thing happened to Marcel and a few others months ago in Apologetics so then he opened a thread suggesting that people could be given reasons if 5 pages of posts are deleted! and his thread was deleted in the suggestion forum as well... So once his thread was deleted I opened a thread called "wheres Marcel's thread?" and that was deleted and I was warned which was probably appropriate. I was really skating on thin ice over there at the time. I just think its better if people can voice their concerns without everything warranting a deletion...

yeah I stay clear of Gunny...I actually tried to put several people over there on my ignore list a while ago and it would not let me. I got the "This person can not be added to your ignore list because they are a moderator or administrator"
The only people i really ever had the desire to be on my ignore lists there were a few mods, no members...

That does seem to be coming increasing clear. When I started posting there last year, it seemed that the forum was moderated only very lightly. To hear of posts and even threads being deleted is unsettling. The internet doesn't need another BaptistBoard.
