Post I don't understand the fuss of Biblical Free Will.

I think the all excuses by Christians of God's Free Will are lame. The notion that you can love God if He gives you Heaven or Hell options are called threat, not Free Will. Put it in this analogy. Try stalking a girl that you like, and force her to love you in whatever means you have. In the end, you're more likely making her hating you more than the effect you intended. Or simply give all your cash money or be shot in the brains.

What do you guys think?

Corgan, I agree, and posted something similar in another thread.

To sum up, for 'God' to offer us hell if we don't follow 'His' guidelines, is extremely similar to a gunman offering to shoot us if we don't hand over all our cash.

Yeah, but they gotta have them. Can't do their "all-powerful and all-loving, but allows evil" thing without that wiggle room (at least in their minds). Of course, it's all a moot point. Such an omnipotent and eternal perfect entity would have known a million billion years ago that I was gonna type this right now - as a matter of fact, would have made the decision for me to do so - ergo, no true free will - otherwise, he/she/it wouldn't truly be omnipotent, and therefore not the gawd they claim him/her/it to be. The Xian's just want to have it both ways.
