Post I am a(n) _________.

I thought it might be fun to see how many different labels I could come up with, that represent the bulk of us here at The Secular Web. Here is what I came up with:

LABELS:
  • Agnostic
    Atheist
    Deist
    Disbeliever
    Doubter
    Freethinker
    Giaour
    Heathen
    Heretic
    Humanist
    Hylotheist
    Infidel
    Latitudinarian
    Materialist
    Non-believer
    Non-theist
    Objectivist
    Pagan
    Pantheist
    Positivist
    Pragmatist
    Pyrrhonist
    Rationalist
    Secularist
    Skeptic
    Somatist
    Truth Seeker
    Unbeliever
    Unitarian
    Universalist

Any labels I am missing? Any labels that should be taken out?

Note that "Universalist" was the label used for a long time for a branch of Christianity that taught some combination of metaphorical Hell, and universal salvation. I believe that was their half of the beliefs that eventually became the UU church... and of course, it's no longer held to as dogma, but "universalist" may not be a very good name for secularists.

I'd also point out that "theist" is common enough around here that you probably might as well include it.

You might also want to include "asshole", since it'll help make sure that anyone who complains of not being included is, in fact, included.

Cool

I coined a word in another thread that I liked a lot at the time: apotheistic.

But I still don't like "theist" in the label; it's too narrow. So I have changed my coined word to become apomagical.

So call me an Apomagician. I may modify it again.... if I find a better root than the Greek magik.

The Latin root is "thaum," I think. Apothaumaturge?

Something like that.

I like "reality-embracer" myself. And "apo-psychicist."

-Perchance.
