why worship?
Hey Christians,
here's sth I really don't get: Even assuming the Bible is true word for word, why would anyone worship the God described there? How can you honestly worship someone you don't know and who is according to his own testimony in the Bible a quite unlikeable character whose actions are unjustifiable according to the moral standards most people today live by? |

[Devil's (heh!) Advocate]
1. He's changed. His old testament actions are not a picture the NT kindler friendlier God. 2. His actions are justifiable, because He is God. Whatever He does is good by definition. [/Devil's Advocate] |

Its either that or torment in hell. I'd stick with the brown nosing if the bible were actually true.
