Default Baptist Board rejected me

I signed up and filled out their form. I put nothing offensive on their form, with the possible exception of listing Landover Baptist Church as my church.

I know many people from this board post on that one too, so I didn't think they had a policy against non-believers. What is going on over there?

Actually, they only allow Christians to register. They used to allow non-Christians too but they changed their rules a year or two ago. I doubt they would consider anyone who puts Landover Baptist as their church to be a Christian.

Christian Forums does allow non-Christians to register and there are a number of people from here who post there.

There may be some other Christian forums that allow non-Christians to register also. But not the Baptist Board.

In the way back days of the internet, I used to post on a christian board, but they kept editing my posts or deleting entire paragraphs in order to make me appear less able to debate, so I gave it up. I thought it was baptist board, but i can't recall. It has been 5 years or more after the fact.

They used to delete my main point, leaving my weakest arguments intact, thereby making me look like an idiot.

Emotional, they require you to list a church. I log into landover so often that it was the only thing I could think of to put.

Unless they changed their rules recently, they only allow Baptists to register. My methodist wife was rejected.

I got that, but they all know what Landover is about. You could easily have found a list of kosher churches at onlinebaptist.com, such as Westboro or Springfield.

Emotional, well I wasn't stupid for putting Landover, I was stupid for thinking they would have a sense of humor about it

I applied to be a member on Baptist Board last year. I stated I was Catholic and the form asked for favorite scripture, so I posted a Latin Prayer.

They denied my application on the grounds that "they were only accepting Born Again Christians at this time".
