Baptist Board rejected me
I signed up and filled out their form. I put nothing offensive on their form, with the possible exception of listing Landover Baptist Church as my church.
I know many people from this board post on that one too, so I didn't think they had a policy against non-believers. What is going on over there? |

Actually, they only allow Christians to register. They used to allow non-Christians too but they changed their rules a year or two ago. I doubt they would consider anyone who puts Landover Baptist as their church to be a Christian.
Christian Forums does allow non-Christians to register and there are a number of people from here who post there. There may be some other Christian forums that allow non-Christians to register also. But not the Baptist Board. Helen |

In the way back days of the internet, I used to post on a christian board, but they kept editing my posts or deleting entire paragraphs in order to make me appear less able to debate, so I gave it up. I thought it was baptist board, but i can't recall. It has been 5 years or more after the fact.
They used to delete my main point, leaving my weakest arguments intact, thereby making me look like an idiot. [edited for typos] |

Emotional, they require you to list a church. I log into landover so often that it was the only thing I could think of to put.

Unless they changed their rules recently, they only allow Baptists to register. My methodist wife was rejected.

Emotional, well I wasn't stupid for putting Landover, I was stupid for thinking they would have a sense of humor about it

I applied to be a member on Baptist Board last year. I stated I was Catholic and the form asked for favorite scripture, so I posted a Latin Prayer.
They denied my application on the grounds that "they were only accepting Born Again Christians at this time". |
