Default The Issue of Taxes

Bill O Reilly has a segment entitled Robin Hood. His argument is "should the gov't take money from America's rich and give it to those who don't have so much".

Here are the issues I'm looking for. In monetary amount I believe the rich pay more taxes, but relative to their earnings how would it compare to a middle-income earner (say 36K-50K)?

I think the idea of cutting taxes is great, so long as the benefit is proportionate. Many Bush dissenters say that he needs to contemplate cutting payroll taxes, so his tax proposals are relevant to America's working class. Bush supporters have a tendency to state that Social Security and Medicare are not really taxes, however that's hard to swallow for someone who sees a large chunk of their check taken out each week.

1) What taxes is Bush trying to cut?
2) Which taxes would you like to see cut?
3) What taxes, if cut, would have a more immediate effect on stimulating the economy?
