Post Human population proves creationism

I really have to stop trying to <a href="http://www.christianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6791" target="_blank">debate YECs</a>.

Can someone point me to a reference that refutes the claim that human population would be way too numerous had Humans been around for a time longer then 10,000 years?

(I couldn't find anything at talk origins)

Generally, any model that predicts doomsday scenarios with overpopulation is called Malthusian(after Malthus who was proclaimed a nut, I think). Of course, the problem with exponential growth models is that they are inaccurate (ignores carrying capacity, non-constant birth/death rate, medical technology, etc.).

Give me some time (after I am doing suppressing the enormous deluge of people who are misrepresenting the second law of thermo at arn.org) and I'll join the good fight =)

One of tgamble's links may mention this, but I find that application of that same argument to rabbit population works pretty well. If Noah's flood was 4500 years ago, an one pair of rabbit disembarked, we would now be how many miles deep in rabbits!?

What about the bacteria? My calculations reveal that the earth can not be more than a few days old.

Excellent. Try to be kind to djphenom (the poster) he's one of the nicer YEC's I've run into and has already displayed himself intelligent enough to accept evidence.
