Say You Love Jesus
I thought about posting this in the Freethought humor, but the truth is I'm not so sure it's a joke, just a vision of Bush's America:
Say you love Jesus There are quite a few other good ones at this site: War Posters Some of these are not related to the war on church state separation, but some definitely are. |

I love Jesus just fine.
It's his fan club that I can't stand. |

It looks like this site is poking fun on both sides. Look at this other poster from there:

I don't think that poster is poking fun at anyone. It's title is Save Our Freedom From Religion.

It's not the original pledge, but a more politically correct version of that pledge. It pleges allegiance to the "Constitution" of the United States, and says, "one nation out of many peoples", which is a reasonable translation of E Pluribus Unum, our original godless national motto.
If I were more Hollywood literate, I could probably identify that picture. Anyone know who that is? |

I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all But the important point still is that "under god" was only added in 1954 and is not part of the original pledge. |
