Penn and Teller: BS covers Creationism
I know this has been posted on some of the other IIDB forums, but I figured I'd give everyone here a heads up. If you don't already know, the new P & T: BS show airs on Shotime on Fridays at 11 PM EST. The show attempts to debunk various oddities, such as Psychics, End Timers, and UFO nuts. It usually does a pretty good job of it, and is funny at the same time.
In two weeks (March 14) they are going to be covering Creationism. Let's hope they do the same sort of job that some of us might if we were in charge |

Poofery
Since the creationist account is:
1. No flagellum 2. <poof> 3. Flagellum and Penn and Teller are magicians, the <poof> part ought to be easy for them to handle. RBH (With apologies to Niiic, who I think first systematically schematicized the ID explanation in terms of a stepwise progression incorporating <poof>, a significant development in the formalization of IDT. |

Yeah, I sadly only get HBO. It would be great if someone could see fit to post a recap.

These episodes are usually posted online at Infidelguy.com. Note that the quality is below abysmal.
Good quality copies sometimes surface on the alt.binaries.multimedia newsgroup. Paul |

Does ANYONE on these boards have some sort of video capture on their computers and get showtime? I really really really want to see this show.
People should at least record it on video and then try to find someone who could transfer the VHS to a hard drive. Then it would probably be easy to find webspace to host it. -B |

I'll happily share any copy of this episode that I can get my hands on. Not everyone has access to Showtime, and the series will almost certainly not be shown outside the US, so I see no harm in distributing it amongst a small group of people such as this. It's no different to copying a TV-recorded tape for a friend. Paul |
