Dear Lard, as if our lives are not already complicated enuf. >att wrote *The Red QUeen*; Mark wrote the definitive? Textbook *Evolution* and also *The Cooperative Gene*; I cannot figure out why the latter guy in the latter book made [page 132] the ridiculous snarl-up about "immaculate conception", virgin birth and the Septuagint! Did he mean some kind of foolish joke? or is he just ill-informed?
