We would have a nation of Thinkers, Scientist, Doctors, Professors, Engineers, Computer people (me) and Astronomers.
Unfortunately some of the astronomers would want to hire a certain Christian engineer I know to help them consistently point their mirrors within 1/4 of an arc second.

I visit widows and orphans in fact, but God knows I suppose.

Was Stalin a true Marxist BTW?

Yeah thats right Radorth.
It takes a "Christian" engineer (guided by the scientific wisdom of Jesus) to do this correctly.

You are starting to remind me of a poop that keeps floating back up no matter how many times the toilet gets flushed.

God doesn't exist, so he can't know.

While he was alive, he was the definition of a true Marxist. Nobody dared disagree with him.

I don't have any "juicy" details, but I've heard from two different girlfriends (one in Mpls, one is St. Paul) that the Coleman marriage has not been exclusive, so I have a bunch of heresay!! I don't know what to think--if this supposedly is so well known why couldn't someone have revealed if for more than just rumors? Someone tried to ask him about it during a interview (called-in questions) on public radio and he didn't answer, just display shock and put down the person for asking such a question. The host was very apologetic. Coleman had a "cow" when a TV reporter used the phrase "visiting her husband" when describing Mrs. C's two week trip here at the end of the campaign. There she was behind him in every photo.
BTW, I think he's Catholic, at least now anyway since one of my bosses at work said he goes to her church. Besides that fact, she voted for him because he brought pro hockey back to Minnesota and they're huge fans. When I asked what she thought of the long-distance marriage arrangement, she said she didn't know anything about it!!
I'm curious if Mrs. Coleman will stay in California or move to DC with hubby. Our last senator from the right, Mr. Rod Grams, had a marriage dissolve while he was in DC. The timeline seems to indicate he was involved with his current wife before splitting from the last one. Plus his kid is almost as bad as Noelle Bush. But hey, let's all wave the flag for Republican family values!

I've got a few friends who are political insiders that have given my the dirt. I wish it could have been aired during the election. Sanders would have made a great senator.

How's this for messed up thinking? I'm more terrified by the thought of leaving this country than I am of staying!

Leave one of the world's largest arsenals of nuclear weapons in the hands of a group of people for whom the greatest validation of their faith would be the fulfillment of their greatest prophecy, Armageddon? I think not. Somehow, I don't think there'll be any place on Earth that's safe if the "fire & brimstone" starts flying.

Now, I'm not saying that the current administration is that nuts, but if everyone leaves the country who would vote against them, more of the lunatic fringe will get elected or appointed into office. Besides, I actually think we're safe for a couple years. Yeah, the 'Pubs are going to be pushing part of their agenda through, but I think they'll hold off on some of the more radical stuff in the hopes that they won't alienate voters and can get the Prez re-elected in 2004 and win a larger majority in Congress. Funny thing about power -- once you get it, you want to keep it.
