Default About King James

I've been trying to do a search on King James whose name bears the most popular version of the Bible that we know of...

I'm trying to find out more about this good guy, and the politics behind him being lead to help liberate the people to understanding the good word.

I suppose having the Bible translated also allowed some people to begin questioning the 'good word,' which paved the way towards such instances of free expression as the Secular Web....ultimately, I mean, amongst other things....

thanks Jimmy ;-)

Oh, an interesting factoid about JamesI/VI - he commissioned Shakespeare to write Macbeth.

He was also convinced that he was being persecuted by witches.

He also had very odd bedroom habits.

On the serious note, I heard one historian refer to his actions as highly deplorable, which I would like to read more on...

did you have any sources?

Well, those tidbits were just off the top of my head, but I did a google search for ya, and came up with these links. Have fun!

http://www.jesus-is-lord.com/kinginde.htm

http://www.nwlink.com/~scotlass/jamesvi.htm

http://www.luminarium.org/sevenlit/james/

http://www.geo.ed.ac.uk/scotgaz/peop...sfirst168.html

BTW, which of his acts were described as 'deplorable'?
