I'm not sure what to make of the smiley you affix to every insult, but your silly little polemics won't win you any respect.

Too late to get salvation, a life passed in vain.

Uh? What insult? And if you find it silly, why are you posting? Just go away.

Daniel.

Thought so. I must have missed something. Where did you sneak Christianity in?

philosoft,

its obious that the christian god is the thing that makes gobblybook pseudointellectual arguments work. which is why we poor dumb atheists just dont get it. daniel is just a misunderstood genius. his logic is the next, dare i say it, evolutionary step in logic.

Daniel's new here, it seems? We old-user grown-ups at the Eye-Eye site tend to have agreed not to call one-another dirty names. Dirty names such as "dumb-ass" etc indicate a failure of intelligence and thought in the user(s) = you, Daniel.

"I Expect A Bright Guy Like You To " argue more intelligently.

Default Lost in the translation

No one called you a "rat" Daniel.
"I smell a rat" is an expression in English which means "I sense something is amiss," or "I think someone is tricking me."
In this case it was referring to the fact that you consider it absurd that I should even want proof of God's existence. "A piece of God." While at the same time claiming that you knew God exists. You are trying to trick the readers of this board into believing something that you boast that you have no proof of.
The "rat" refers to your argument, such as it is, and not to you.

Default To everyone involved, and frankly...

...at this point, I don't care who started it.

Clean it up. Take your mudslinging private. If you can't discuss the legitimate subject without rancor, do not discuss at all.

Not only are all the participants in this pettiness in violation of Forum Rules, but you should all bear in mind that the inability to carry on a civil discussion unsupervised does not reflect well on any of you, and can only detract from any decent argument you may have made prior to being reduced to ad hominems.
