I loved this quote:
"Of course the webmaster could create a forum where everybody must agree with each other where posts would be something like this. I agree 100% with you brother/sister. In fact you said exactly what I was going to say except that you said what I wanted to say, first. There's not much else to say except that It was really nice finding a topic we can all agree on. Looks like we are all in agreement so lets start another topic we can all agree on. " At least some fundies have a sense of humor. j |

Meow!
That is one of the funniest threads I've seen there. Kind of reminds me of this passage when the teachers of the law were ridiculing Jesus by saying he was possessed by the devil. And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said, "He is possessed by Beelzebub! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons." So Jesus called them and spoke to them in parables: "How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come..." Mark 3:22-27 I think that Christians will be the ultimate downfall of Christianity. This rift between "conservative" and "liberal" is not limited to the Baptists and is growing wider by the day. Now that I'm not smack in the middle of it anymore, I find it quite entertaining. I loved this quote from the second thread:
Quote:
Do these people even read what they type? Interesting, too, how the way to stop "ending in endless circles," according to her, is just for everyone to agree with her views. -Perchance. |

LOL, the christians do indeed seem more than a tad partial to the Goebbels school of debate "mediation".
