GAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to go ENTIRELY INSANE! Christian Forums is driving me absolutely nutters! They're going to come for me, lock me up in a padded room, put a straight jacket on me, and feed me bloody tapioca three times a day! AIIIEEEEE! I understand that these people actually believe Genesis is historically accurate. But the sheer cohesive MASS of cognitive dissonance over there is STUNNING, in a horrible, horrible way! They say all the evidence fits YECism, but when presented with falsifying evidence, they DON'T EVEN BOTHER TO RESPOND! It's like talking to a fucking brick wall, except brick walls don't tell you you've been fucking brainwashed by a fucking atheist scientistic baby-killing sexual-predator war-mongering religion-hating conspiracy! I swear, I understand now just how maddeningly efficient the human mind is at ignoring things it doesn't like. People who believe Genesis is literal, but half the other verses in the Bible are not. People who truly and honestly think that every scientist on the planet in engaged in a massive, satanic conspiracy to keep down the "Truth!" Fuck 'em! Fuck 'em all! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: I swear, if those people who have had it explained to them A THOUSAND FUCKING TIMES *EVER* bring up thermodynamics again, I'm going to jump off a fucking cliff! That our species could breed such close-minded, incompetant fucks! That in some wierd, twisted way I'm actually *RELATED* to these nutballs? Excuse me while I go break something. Preferably a bone or two. GAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fucking insanity! |

![]() ![]() Seriously though: do you feel better now? Maybe you'd find it to be even more cathartic to repost this rant over at CF as well. It may get you banned, but hell, it's not like anyone was listening to you over there in the first place, right? ![]() |

CF is not for the rationally-minded! Non-theists should take it in small doses unless under the influence, or if otherwise able to not take CF posters seriously. Can be good for humor if you're in the right state of mind.
Seriously, I don't know why you all bother with CF. |

Amos ~ 7:7 Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the LORD stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand. 7:8 And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the LORD, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more Bibbity bobbity boop |

I decided to stop trying to reason with them. Instead I drop in there once in a while, lay down a little philosophical niblet, then leave. They won't accept reason head-on, but maybe if I lob a small insight underneath the radar it will bounce around in their heads for a while and stimulate some thought in one or two of them.

I looked in on the place, and couldn't stand it. I didn't look deeply enough to track those stupid ideas, but the incessant "praise god"s and similar vapid sentiments convinced me they were all a bunch of delusional dingleberries.
I think I might last about an hour in there before I'd be snarling and snapping and tearing at those nattering Ned Flanders clones. I decided it was the wisest thing to beat a quick retreat. Sometimes I do feel like I shouldn't be let out in public without a Hannibal Lecter-style muzzle. |
