Wink Interesting thought

Christians always talk about how God has no grandchildren. In other words, having faith because your parents have faith means that your faith is not really yours. You are not supposed to have faith simply because others do. But isn't that what resurrection apologetics is all about? Paul, Peter et al. were all obviously convinced that they had seen Jesus resurrected, and there is no other explantion other than the fact that Jesus actually rose from the dead, therefore he must have rose from the dead. They then believe in the resurrection of Christ. Doesn't that mean that their faith in Jesus rests on Paul's and Peter's faith in Jesus, and is not truly their own? Just an idea....

Sorry...perhaps this would have been more suitable in "Biblical Criticism and Archeology"
