Just my take on the situation, but I support neither side. It is not a conflict that I have any business being involved in or taking sides. This is something I wish the federal government would listen to. I am just fine with letting the Israelis and Palestianians blow each other to hell.

Yeah I am quite an odd mix, but luckily you can't inherit being a Jew, so I'm good there, I think i'll stick with Atheism.

I happened to be in Washington DC at the time of the "support Israel" rally, and I was arrested because someone called the "terrorism" hotline and reported me as suspicious. I wasn't doing anything, I was just there for a work thing, but, they perhaps just assume all Arab pepole are there to hinder them? who knows. good thing I've got good lawyers. the rally personally sickened me, these people believe that Israel is not capable of doing anything wrong, when in reality, that is far from truth.

People there are sad there because they are having families killed in suicide bombings and fights.because they are living in Israeli settlements in Palestine. the only thing I can say is "DUH!" you think if you move to a settlement in israel nothing is going to happen to you if you go in and displace the people already living there? people in america lack a general awareness about going to other ocuntries. you're not going to get special protection because you're american citizen. you run the same risk as any Palestinian or Israeli citizen there. When you're there, you have to abide by Their laws and customs, it's a simple concept. If you can't fighre this out or deal with it, you should just stay home.

and also, Egypt is a fairly good representitive for the rest of the Arab world. Cairo is one of my personal favourite cities. There's supposedly this issue with sexual harassment there (like when men yell things at you), but it's just like in New yourk city, yell things back. The concept of anti Semitism comes from a biblical origin where Sam was one of the sons of Noah and they consider him the common father of both Arabs and Jews. I have 3 comments about this story;
1-Most of the stuff �if not all �in the OT lack any scientific evidence and we can�t rely on it in any serious and logic discussion
2-if � for the sake of argument- we accept this concept so the Arabs also are Semites and in the past we use to call ourselves and the Jews �cousins� so the term anti-Semites= anti Jewish and anti Arabs
3-this story of Sam was mentioned in the OT but according to Islamic sources, it doesn�t exist in Quran or any other valid source so in Muslim psyche and mind there is nothing called Semites but there is something called Jews and if you like to use �Anti� as prefix it is better to call it anti Israeli.

Based on those comments, what you call it anti-Semitism doesn�t mean anything for us, we don�t have Hitler in our history torturing our consciousness day and night, when we look at our hands, we can�t find their blood, when we go to sleep the victims of the inquisitions don�t chase us in our dreams asking for revenge but rather we can find something like this:

When the west now lectures the Muslims about anti-Semitism is like a prostitute giving a lecture to a group of nuns about the dangers of multiple sexual partners!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I mentioned Shakespeare�s �merchant of Venice� the aim was to proof this point, IT IS YOUR PRODUCT NOT OURS not to justify the so called anti Semitism.
When I mentioned the �divine comedy� the aim was to dig deep in the past to uncover the roots of mistrust and hate between us not to justify any thing. When you treat a patient you have to know the cause, the predisposing factors and the precipitating factors that caused his illness before giving him treatment.
