Yes. Haven't you heard? Those pushing for a secular US are the real villians here - we made god lift his magic veil o'protection. Say the magic words ("In God We Trust") enough, and the slippers will take you home. Or something like that...

Maybe that's why the religious right is pushing abstinence only sex ed. They want to make sure that there are plenty of virgins around for sacrifice when they discover that IGWT signs, forced school prayer, and the Ten C in courts didn't do the trick.

I joined solely to propose this idea: convince some group with money and influence to get posters of "e pluribus unum" placed in schools, post offices, etc. When the religious right comes around and tries to have "In God We Trust" put up, we cry religious intolerance. A sort of sectarian-proofing of our public buildings. And not only is it a much better motto, we would get to feel even more smug about ourselves...
