Dr. Carl Baugh
Guys guess what! I am going to have the privilege
of going to see Carl Baugh's Creation Evidence Museum in Glen Rose, TX on Friday. I would like to see his reactions to being asked questions he is probably not going to be prepared for. Help me think up some really good questions for him to answer. [ March 12, 2002: Message edited by: Why? Why Not? ]
|

Dr. Baugh, why does AiG put all of your claims on their list of arguments that creationists shouldn't use?

I wouldn't count on Baugh himself being there. I was told that Baugh gives talks from time to time, but mostly museum visiters are treated to a video. Is the new museum open yet?

DS: How come even Henry Morris won't join with you any more in saying that the prints are human?

I took a road trip out to Cape Canaveral once with a buddy without even knowing there was a launch scheduled. There was, and it happened. I wouldn't count on Carl being there. He's probably off somewhere trying to persuade a school board to adopt ID rather than doing any real scientific work himself. |

Ask his what scientific peer-reviewed journals his scientific discoveries have been published in.

DS: And don't let him get away with quoting the creationist vanity press, which ahs nothing to do with mainstream science. |

It's been a few years since I went to the Creation Evidence Museum (CEM). Baugh wasn't there, but his relatives (a sister and brother-in-law, or was it a brother and sister-in-law? I forget.) were running the show. The presentation wasn't any better than a child's show-and-tell, but that didn't stop the ooohs and ahhhs from the bussed-in faithful. I got the impression that his kin had never cracked open a science textbook in their life. I was really surprised at how hillbilly the whole operation was.
Now his website for the CEM shows new construction going up. I would at least visit the website before you make your trip. It might give you some ideas for questions to whomever is running the show. |

Dr. Duhh, how do you account for all the unique species of animals in Australia and North America, that wouldn't have even been in Noah's geographical region to "save" before the big FLOOD? Since God only creates creatures of their "own kind", I assume that no Ark animals could have "evolved" into Kangaroos, Koalas and Wallabees later, hmmmmmm??
Also, how did Noah keep the T-Rexes and Raptors from eating everything on board? The Bible says that two of every living creature were put aboard the Ark, and you folks are always making the claim that dinosaurs existed side by side with man. So did Noah tranquilize them? Oh, that's right, godidit.... Lastly, how many Chinese and African people did Noah have on board to later re-populate those continents? Those races existed long before this "flood" occurred, and I find it facsinating that Noah's sons could later manipulate their own DNA to re-create these races and cultures so quickly. Also funny how Egyptian and Mesopotamian history are silent about a global flood event that supposedly wiped these civilizations out completely. The pyramids were built hundreds of years before the flood supposedly took place, yet they exhibit no evidence of flood damage, hmmmmmmm?? Oh yes, "poof"...godidit!! One final question, why do you waste so much time and energy distorting the truth and lying to people to perpetuate such an obvious myth?
