Death - who cares
Let's all enter Paradise hand in hand
Having no religious affiliation whatsoever, I regard the subject of life after death as a relative concept that has been manipulated so as to conformn to a particular societies world view. For example, rather than employ so-called reasoning and empirical methods to establish the possibility of life after death, the worlds religions (Sikhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism and Islam etc.) have attempted to promote a view of death that plays down all elements of fear. It is this Fear that consumes our souls. Therefore, religion replaces fear with a positive energy of Faith, resorting to beliefrather than evidence. As for myself, I consider that we are all composed of Unconcsious matter. This matter is impermanent and will, as acccording to the second Law of Thermodynalics, perish. However, ther is a concsious side to us, the energy, which 'feels', 'thinks', 'loves' and 'acts'. This energy is the conscious ness which we refer to as either Soul or spirit. All matter is energy and all energy is matter. When all is said and done we are, at the time of death, converted from enrgy into matter. The process is repetitive. Akin to reincarnation, such a view holds no laws such as 'karma', which I believe is used by religions to create a peacefull and stable society. To speak of Paradise and Hell, is to ifner upon knowledge that I do not have and would require the existence of a supreme being. Something for which I have no knowledge. Whatever happens, don't Fear death. Have Faith. If Sikhism makes you happy than respect. If it's Buddhism - it's all good. Or Hinduism, Islam - let's share our experiences learn from one another and respect other views. I hope the following quote comforts you as it does me: What is life? Iit is like the breath of the bufallo in the winter. It is like the light of the firefly in the night. And it is like the shadow of the tall grass that loses itself. Life is neither long nor short. It just is. So too is this true with death. You know it's subjects like these that make you realise that hey, why don't we just get along with one another, hmmm? Wasim and his tanga seek to make the most of their life on this Earth - we LOVE you all |

Constructive criticism? Try providing an argument or evidence instead of simply making assertions.
