Aside from the obvious inanity of the arguement, isn't the whole OT idea of god favouring the Jewish people rather racist as well?

And of course killing all of the first born egyptians because one egpytian was holding your people captive, wasnt a form of genocide.

I have always liked the "Hitler used evolution as an excuss, so evolution is evil" argument, because it produces funny results.

That being that when you mention that christianity was used as an excuss to kill, murder and rape Men, Women and Children in many bloody wars, they quite often use the argument, "well they werent true christians, so it doesnt count"

So apparently it only counts when its against evolution, but is ok when its against creationism

Then there is the even funnier part of it where a group of people of winners from those wars (you know, the untrue christians) put together the version of the bible we see today, in 1611.
