If I am a thiest?
If I am a thiest, what have I lost?
If I am a thiest, what has the world lost? If I am an athiest, what have I lost? If I am an athiest, what has the world lost? Just to compare and contrast. |

Some may say I have lost free will if I am an thiest, but we all know free will and freedom are illusions.
Some may say the world has lost someone who can contribute to the supreme purpose, but there is not surpreme purpose. |

These questions came into my mind while I was meandering through the Post "Why are Athiests Happy?"\
And in reading there responses, I thought, can a person be equally happy being and athiest as being a thiest, would the world be happier if we were primarily thiest or athiest? Can happiness even be measured? |

It depends on the person. Quote:
Primarily atheist, I think. An atheistic world would tolerate theists, but theists usually don't tolerate atheists (or other types of theists). Just look at the heavy censorship going on in Christian discussion boards and you get the idea. ________________ Le cœur a ses raisons que la raison ne connaît point. |

I dissagree, athiest just choose to tolerate different things, and not tolerate others. Esle why would so many people be argueing on this site and many others like it?

Do you think anything should be censored?

First, mostly we're not arguing, we're debating.
Second, humans, regardless of philosophy, learn to tolerate different things. Third: Quote:

Fifth, happiness is not guaranteed for anyone, so why would it be relevant? And what of censorship? You are kind of all over the map here. |

I have argued on many posts here and have read arugements of this sort and so far the general concensous is that reason is subjective.
A thiest has not lost the ability to reason at all, the just arrive at a different conclusion, subject to their experiences. |
