I can argue like a apologetic!
It is true! A year on this board have taught me how you can explain away logical fallacies and plain nonsense in religion.
Just today, somone on a hindu board quoted a verse from Gita where Krishna says that all other gods are demi-gods. So he asked since he had been worshipping Ganesha all this time, does this mean he had been worshipping a demigod? (Doesn't he have any thing better to do? ) I wrote back --- wihtout even having to think, mind you --- Krishna was speaking as the Brahman. since Ganesha is only one aspect of Brahman, then he is a demi-god. But since Brhaman is everything, by worshipping Ganesha he is actually worshipping Krishna/Brahman. I was really impressed with myself when I read it. Am I a theologian or what! |

Sorry Hinduwoman - Your going to have to work harder at your apologetics skills. Your response still made at least some sense. Next time, try using some greek words like "paradosis" and "kerygma". Then you amaze your friends with your apologetical obtuseness.
Cheers! PS Throw in some post-modernism as well. Can't hurt. |

Actually, considering its a hindu board, Sanscrit would be even more impressive.
