Write & tell GWBUSH....
Write your employee @ the White House and tell him:
If he aspires to make himself a hero to humankind (Hold the pickle, hold the lettuce?), our *employee*, the unelected temporary president of the US, should do publickly what REAL MEN do: He should himself challenge Saddam Hussein to SINGLE COMBAT. and thus emulate that hero David of the Book GWBush most admires. We have heard Bush prate on about his own leadership. Let him LEAD then; instead of sending youngsters to do his dirty work, while he himself cringes at home always blathering his blather. GO BUSH GO! Put your money where your mouth is, Hero! If you're such a great example, Go take Saddam out yourself. |

I think Saddam would pound his ass. I think Dubya knows it too.
The battle would make great ratings on TV though. I'm surprised a reality TV producer hasnt pushed for it yet. |

I've kind of been hoping this whole build up to war thing was all hype, and at the last moment the US would launch one missile and nail saddam right on the head.
Not quite what you are talking about, but that would be a policy I think France could get behind. GWB: C'mon Jacques, just one missile? Jacques" OK, but you have to make HBO run a Jerry Lewis retrospective for three years straight. Sound of Missile launching, and every american cancelling HBO. |

All well and good, but to do that you'd have to violate our executive order banning political assassinations. And once you've done that.... you've opened a pandora's box that I strongly doubt most people want opened. (If we have the right to assassinate duly elected foreign leaders... why don't they have the same right to assassinate ours?)

In fact, hasn't the US authorized the CIA to use assination as a tool again? My memory if vague, but I do seem to remember this.
