Now now, it's not nice to make fun of the reality challenged.

Er, did anyone notice he left his office phone number <a href="http://www.drdino.com/cse.asp?pg=news&specific=62" target="_blank">here</a>?

Just an observation for those who live in Florida.

Please note that Missus Gumby's link also gives email addresses for the county officials who will rule on Hovind's case. Just in case y'all want to show your support, or something.

Well there are some countries which are not much of a threat....

But, we are rattling sabers with Iraq. So send him to Iraq. Maybe Iraq will surrender rather than have him. :-) Then there is North Korea and Iraq's Persian friends. Once the Axis of Evil has been taken out, we can find some other nation we do not like. If we run out, there is always Mike and the robots out in orbit.

I've known one of the "county inspectors" (she's actually an code enforcement officer, whose sole job is to serve citations) for 20 years and I spoke with her a few months ago about this very issue. Hovind wants to have an unpermitted structure to house the public, plain and simple. He even argued at a prelimiary hearing that he is beholden to God above the state and should not have to permit a building that is to be used for 'God's work.' He's going to lose, and he's going to lose huge. No one involved (including the County Commission, one of whom is a family friend) thinks he has an ounce of credibility. His theistic insanity has gotten the better of him finally. His obfuscating and displays of legal ignorance are mere handwaving at this point.

That's not the issue Delmar. Even if that
did put you square with the Lord, the State of Mississippi's a little more hard-nosed.
