Well that goalie is kicking our ass. I don't have cable so I haven't seen the last two games. I would have gone out to a bar to watch but I was expecting a phone call from a lady. B**** never called me....

Anyway, I just wanted to state for the record that, yes, we here in Minnesota know that "the Wild" is a really stupid name for a sports team.

You gotta feel really bad for Roloson. It's hard to be an effective goalie with your hands around your neck WHILE YOU'RE CHOKING!

And Giguere is positively superhuman. This is only the second time in the history of the NHL that a goalie has had three shut outs in a row in the first three games of a playoff series. The first time was a goalie for Toronto in 1945.

Even so seems like people are overlooking how fantastic the Ducks defense is doing in front of the net. And the offense positively spanked the Mild last night. Kariya's mid air back hand goal was pure poetry. THIS is what hockey is supposed to be like. Noe I just want Anaheim to sweep the Mild and maybe get another shut out, but I'm being greedy.

Minny's going to get shut out again in game 4 I'm afraid. I wonder if that's a record?

I don't think the Wild is a stupid name. It's better than Mighty Ducks, that's for sure. They need to drop the Mighty off of their name.

I think the coach made his only error of the playoffs so far: not letting Fernandez stay in net.

On the other hand, the Wild defense made as many mistakes as the Ducks defense blocked shots. Made the game more lop-sided that it should have been...

One of the color comments during or after this game brought us this statistic: Giguere is the first goalie in NHL history to win 10 of his first 12 games played in the post season. One could say "luck," but, considering the quality of the forwards he beat, I'd have to say, "Ladies and Gentlemen: meet Paddy Roy's successor!"

Despite my comment about the "Mighty" being dumb in the Ducks name, I am for the Ducks 100% to win the Cup.
