I seem to recall some requests for the admins to create a forum for cosmology, but I can't find any threads talking about this subject. What is the deal with that, as of now?

Until then, would this forum be the most appropriate place to discuss the BB, inflation, yadda yadda? It seems this board gets a lot more attention than some of the others, and would be a good place for some interesting topics.

I don't think this is the ideal place, although I suppose it could depend on the details of the discussion.

For general cosmology issues relating to religion or the supernatural or whatever, perhaps Science & Skepticism or Existence of God(s) (depending on which supernatural beastie you mean )

If you're talking about just a discussion of science and not looking with standing it up to religion, I'd say Misc Discussions might be your best bet.
