Shouldn't that be .edu?

Their catalog has this compelling endorsement from Dr. Dino himself:

"Had it not been for Patriot University, I would have had no way to even consider a degree."
Now, I wonder why that is. Patriot University is the only seat of - ahem - higher learning within 500 miles of him, is that what he's saying? |

You'd have thought that they'd have at least tried for a .org domain. (Another amusing side-note. I work as tech support for an ISP. Whenever I get one of the local churches, I'm always saying their domain names with a com instead of an org out of genuine force of habit... doesn't happen with anything else) As to the hovind quote... I bet it was his only chance. |

From the course catalog for Patriot University, the alma matter of beloved creationist Kent Hovind.
Curiously, I found the following statements concerning tuition: "Is it affordable? How about this? You may set your own rate! That's correct! For undergraduate students which agree to take at least ten courses per week (six for graduate students)--tuition can be a monthly freewill offering. We suggest your tuition investment should be about $35-$55 per month to cover our costs. However, if you cannot afford that much every month the minimum requirement is just $25 for undergraduates and $35 for graduate students" "You set your own rate" "tuition can be a . . .freewill offering" BUT We really Don't Mean It (we just say this to lure you in) because the truth is, "the minimum requirement is $25 for undergraduates and $35 for graduate students" WE know, we know, but this is the last time we will lie to you. Promise! |

I should buy doctorates for my young children. Then I can rightfully claim that they are as educated as Dr. Dino.
