Just goes to show that theists are more interested in doctrine than in the whole question of whether there is a god in the first place. I mean, what other kinds of claims are people so likely to accept on even the most irrational pretexts?

Like my side-kick (or, more accurately, I'm his side-kick) Jobar, I was about to move this to General Religious Discussions, but then a few actual discussions about the existence of god(s) are threatening to pop up, so I'll leave it. (Also, there appears to be a side conversation going about why people believe in God, which IMO is acceptable for this forum.)
