Godless Americans March website down???
Has the Godless Americans March website been down the last couple of days or is it just me???
http://godlessamericans.org/ I also not that American Atheists.org no longer has it advertised on their main page http://www.atheists.org however it is still listed on their calendar and other areas. Do you think this is just a technical problem or is something going on deeper than that? Please let me know if others can get on the site and then I will know if it is me or the site. Thanks. I got a "web site not responding," followed by "this page could not be opened" but AOL has been doing this to me all night! must convince parents to change ISPs...
I hope the march is still on, tomorrow would have been the perfect day to start working on the parents to let me go. ~ashes_of_infinity...chaotic and caffinated~ |

As of 2:12pm Eastern Time USA the godless americans site is STILL down.
I am really getting nervous. I wouldn't be so nervous if they atheists.org site hadn't gotten rid of the banners of their home page. I am going to check out atheists.org again and see if they still have about the march on their other pages like they did yesterday or if they've posted any updates. I am getting all paranoid about the what ifs now. Would if they've canceled it or what if some crazy religious nut wings hacked in to it and took it down....or what if they are whimping out on the whole thing (doubtful but lately nothing would surprise me) I wouldn't mind if they changed the date as having it right before the election is not the best timing in the world. I had suggested to all the non-believer groups at the end of April that they have such a March on Washington next May during the National Day of Prayer as a protest/rally. However, I think at the time perhaps the AA had already planned this Godless March??? I wouldn't mind if they would change the whole March to May 2003. It is much prettier in DC that time of year. |

I bet Ashcroft had it taken down because it advocated terrorism.

The site is still down, but the American Atheists site does have a flash banner for the march on their home page.
Hopefully, this is "technical difficulties". I almost made hotel reservations this weekend. THOUGHTfully Yours, Clark Adams |
