Nothing except that only the colloquial is effective here because the term vulva power would mean something else.

The question was why the rule exists against the ordination of women priests and I explained that the basis for this lies in the relationship between the left and right brain. The left brain is the Tree of Knowledge here represented by the priest and the right brain is the Tree of Life here represented by the woman. The woman was taken from man to become the womb of man here passively seated as the body of the Church to receive new life messages that are spurted by the priest from the elevated pulpit.

It simply represent the relationship between the dominant life-giving but discontinuous left brain and the passive but persistent life-serving right brain. For this relationship to be possible a distinction must exist and this distinction must be maintained to exist and not become obscured (neutered) in a gender equal society wherein the psycology of man is encouraged to cross the biological barrier.

How about some more opinions from other Catholics here? Amos is pretty far out there.

Correct, this is just my opinion on the matter and no offence was intended.

Catholics for a Free Choice have a lot to say about this issue in their latest edition of Conscience, their newsletter.
I I were Catholic, I definitely would be a member. I think that in the future many American Catholics may start thier own church with married priests and female priests. After all, married men are much less flighty than unmarried ones.

Amos, I certainly took no offense with your usage of the words penis and pussy. But your meanings of a female church body with male priests almost sounds like theology aka Janet and Stewart Farrar in "Eight Sabats for Witches".

Married men will never be ordained and neither will females. There are other functions available to both married men and females. Groups like that are welcome to leave and start their own church in which they can all become priests or painters or whatever they like.

Oh yeah, have you ever wathced Jerry Springer?

Yes, I understand Cypher Girl and I, in turn, am not trying to be vulgar but it is just that I had no choice.

I am not familair with Janet and Steward Farrar so I don't know what that is all about.

The imagery I presented is rather interesting for me because that is the way I see it and I see lots more of it. Better yet, science seems to always confirm my thoughts on this matter.

Au contraire, Amos. Many African priests and bishops of the Roman Catholic Church are married.

Yes I have heard that before and there must be a good reason for it if that is true.

They are forced to bow to societal pressures in Africa.

Given that, why should we trust your evaluation of the future of female priests?

That may not be true, and my evaluation of the future is just based on the present dogmatic constitution. The explanations I gave are mine and I presented them here because there is too much common sense in it to be ignored.

Fair enough.

WHAT?! Common sense? Amos, your "explanations" are incomprehensible at best!

Oh for sure. Maybe the problem is that common sense is not very common today.

Hi Amos,

You agree with your medevil forefathers that women have no souls. They are carnal vessels from which creatures which have souls-men, are sprung after the impure and vulgar act of sexual intercourse. Males are corrupted by their association with evil females and can attain eternal bliss only by rejecting the feminine material and gross world. (How am I doing? Can I be a cardinal yet, based on that stuff?)

I cannot for the life of me understand how women can be catholics. Considering the vile anti-female perspective of its theology and history, it utterly astounds me that women can even enter a catholic church never mind want to be a priest in one. That is a head-scratcher for me and indeed is another topic.
Amos, help me here.
