I would suspect it varies from the young earth creationist to the view that Gd said BANG! and everything just rolled from there.
My experience, having suspected without much thought that Xian creationists were motivated more by contrarianism than actual conviction, was of a Muslim colleague in biochemical engineering grad school who turned to me and said "you don't actually believe any of this evolution bullshit, do you?". I was speechless. |

Honestly muslims, and I am a muslim, have no basis for referring to evolution as "bullshit".The Qur'an confirms evolution. We just happen to know or think that the current theory of evolution is just that: a THEORY.Muslims who totaly disagree with evolution have been unduly influenced by christian creationists. Besides, Muslim creationist is asa much an oxymoron as islamic terrorism

Gravity is just a theory. No one can prove that when you jump out of a building you'll hit the ground.
