Super-Croc in San Diego
For anyone in the San Diego area, there is a temporary exhibit at the San Diego Wild Animal Park that has a replica of a complete skeleton of Sarcosuchus imperator (a.k.a - Super-croc) on temporary display until April 7. Super-Croc
It's not a big exhibit, so unless you're really into crocodilia it's probably not worth the cost of admission all by itself, but if you have a zoological society membership (worth every penny if you ask me) or were just planning to go anyway, it's worth a trip. The skeleton is huge. It looked like a full grown Nile Croc (with only a slight bend of the tail required) would easily fit inside the rib-cage of the Super-Croc. |

I can't wait to go see this. It sounds interesting. And yes, I also think the Zoological Society is worth more than every penny I pay. I just say Birute Gladikas speak on orangs the other week and that was fabulous too! To see an eminent researcher speak for only $17 was amazing. I wish the talk was more on orang physiology and primatology and she focused more on conservation, but it was still a memorable event to see her. I just think the zoological society is the best. I wish I could give them more money than I do! I feel like I get so much mroe form them than I give!
