It a given that belief in God thru trust is not a valid method of knowing whether God exists for the secular web.
However I do believe that we need to trust, whether we are atheists agnostics or believers, just to live our daily lives

FAith and trust are not at all synonymous.
Trust - believe - have confidence in- are
more or less synonymous. Faith describes a particular method that one uses in forming that trust or belief. Faith is when you form your trust or belief independent of the evidence and logic that supports or contradicts the thing you trust.

Yes, we need to have beliefs and have confidence in some possibilities more than others, otherwise
we would be incapable of decision and action.
However, if you actually went around forming your
everyday ideas and beliefs on faith, you would be
dead along time ago.
