I feel sure that you have told of this incident many times with the accompanying oooh's, ahhhh's and looks of bewilderment from your audiences. However since I must depend on these electronic symbols to help me create an accurate picture in my mind, here are just a few of the questions I have.

How old were you when all this paranormal stuff happened? Were you in your own home/ room? How open was your bedroom door? Did you have a light on in your room? Were you in bed? Had you been asleep? How do you know the light was turned on in the bathroom? Was that door open or closed? Who else lived in that home?

Besides the running water sound, I wonder if this "unknown" used the toilet? Was there a tinkling sound? Flushing? Was there a deposit left in the bowl if it wasn't flushed? Was the light extinguished after "it" left the bathroom? Were either the stairs or the hall to the bathroom carpeted? How old was this home? Where was it located? What were the prevailing weather conditions outside?

I just love a good "ghost" story.

That first sentence gives one a big clue. It seems to be the time of the majority of the instances of ghost manifestations and alien abductions, which are readily explained by sleep paralysis and waking dreams.
