Rufus, I'm begining to wonder if your not better off trying to debate somene else.

This guy is obviously dumber than Hovind, and a good bit less honest as well. <img src="graemlins/banghead.gif" border="0" alt="[Bang Head]" />

Surely there are other fair minded critics who would be more interested in the evidence at hand?

I have sometimes thought about registering over there at the CF, but there seem to be ample rationalists able to counter the creto nonsense.

there are days where I seem swamped here:

They are for the most part just little kids, so I try not to come down too hard.

Ugg, the POD forums make me sick.

If there is one thing have personal problems with more than religion, it would have to be attempts to make it hip. Religion is supposed to be sacred. I find it very hippocritical that people try to take religion and try to popularize it. Appeals to a "cool" Jesus, seem just as stupid as appeals to a "cool" Strom Thurmand.

Fake people make me sick.

Rufus,

Ancient religions and 'hip' exercise video's or childrens shows featuring dancing characters from th bible do admittedly seem rather contrived, I wouldn't assume that 'fake people' are making them.

I'm sure many sincere people are in hollywood and MTV shovelling out marketable garbage. Why should we be suprised that sincere people could put out unmarketable garbage?

as baby feral cats grow up to be big feral cats destroying the environment around them (aussie here) so do baby creationists grow up to be big creationists unless they're stomped out first.

Dr GH,

I'd never seen the POD forum before. Remarkable. This little gem is a characteristic sample from Deadmanwalking:

Isn't it amazing how perfectly round the planets are? Wow, someone sure must have been in control of that "big bang" in order for them to shape up like that! Just place a stick of dynamite under a huge rock. You'll see that the explosion does not produce perfectly round smaller rocks. So, how do you explain that one in your finite wisdom? One can't.
It's almost too perfectly ignorant and stupid to be meant seriously. What a wonderful example of how fundies spout the most inane babble when 2 or more are gathered in His Name (TM).

Yeah,

While the links between Christian (esp. gospel) music and Rock ‘n Roll are obvious, one of the weakest deadends ever is “Christian Rock.”
