You rely on OSAS? And you claim that you were a Christian?

Does believing in "once saved, always saved" automatically make you not a Christian?

That's a bit of a No True Scotsman fallacy, if you believe that.

No, believing in OSAS does not make you a false Christian, but it does put you in a very weak position--where you can fall and not even know it or accept it. A lot of people rely on this, and say that God will bring them back to Him, eventually. While others simply think that that is it, that they don't need works, and that their faith, that God has saved them, will save them (despite their sinful lifestyle). It is just rediculous.

Of course if you rely on Jn, then you have no choice in the matter . . . you are either "born from above" or you are "from below." Period.

If you prefer Mk, then Junior will not let you learn what you need to know lest you turn and be saved.

Not that consistency was ever important in dogma.
