I went into a deep depression for some time and I just remember people telling me that "God loves me and this all is in his master plan." Well, if God loved me, why would he hurt me so bad? That curiosity turned into confusion, that into anger, and that into hate. I don't attend church anymore and it makes me sick to my stomach when people say," God bless you!" or even talk about God in my presence.

My mother says that I have serious issues. Am I wrong for feeling this way? Do I really have serious issues?
I don't know how long ago your Grandmother died (I'm sorry - she must have meant a lot to you) but, it does take a long time to heal from a loss of someone close to you. And part of the grieving process often includes anger. It sounds like people responded insensitively when you were grieving and that hurt you deeply on top of the loss of your grandmother, so now you don't want to be around Christians at all.

I hope you can let go of the anger over time, because I believe you will be happier if you can. I doubt that the people who hurt you by their insensitivity meant to do it; they probably were trying to help you. Maybe you can tell yourself that and it will help you not to be so angry at them. It's just a suggestion.

And maybe you can try to tell your Mom how much it hurt to lose your Grandmother. Maybe if you try to explain to her she'll understand a bit better. Maybe not, but maybe.
