New creationist tract
Move over Jack Chick, there's a new tract on evolution. It's full of its own novel howlers, like claiming that Neanderthals were actually "Homo-Erectus" [sic] and therefore just modern men (and what species do they think we are?! ) . Enjoy.

This was already posted in the humor section. It's even more pathetic than Chick comics. Is it to much to hope that it's just a mockery of cretinist stupidity?

[rant]
I can't stand his tract on school violence. He obviously doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. Bible study groups are supposed to make alienated students give up their guns? Doesn't he remember a pre-school Bible study group being shot? No, four years is too long ago for his memory to retain. If anything, those evangelizing, homophobic, Bible-thumping "study" group attendees will make more students pick up guns to make their smug tormentors go away. Of course, no fundy evangelist could have the wits to realize that. Or does he want more catastrophes, to bring more wounded people into the "healing" embrace of fundamentalism? What a mental case. [/rant] The drawing lacks Chick's black-and-white charm, though the message is about as psychotic. |

It is totally untrue. Only SOME brawny jocks with varsity jackets are apes.

I may be crazy, but I'd almost say Jack Chick has a potential copyright infringement lawsuit here ...

H. Erectus as modern men? That's a howler.

The K-Ar dating on a 200 year-old human skeleton is a new one to me.
(Can you even date a skeleton with K-Ar? I thought it was for rocks, ash layers etc.) Boy, someone should re-write/re-draw the teacher and replace the comments with what we'd say. E.g.: "Class, decay eliminates C-14, but what produces it? What does this mean for this particular YEC argument?" ...etc... Nick |

Did anyone spot the stereotypes? They even named the black girl "Kiesha".

I thought it rather ironic that a dumb jock was defending evolution. In the real world, the dumb jock is the one most likely to be a cretinist since God is in his jockey shorts on the football field

That may have been the point: the "dumb jock" not only was the only defender of "evil-ution" but also straw-manned it with his behaviour...
