Yet another multiple omnipotent being thread
Ok, I understand the argument that you can have multiple omnipotent beings co-existing if they agreed that they would not interfere with each other.
I'm still hanging up on the question of what happens if one or both of them were to violate this agreement. If they directly opposed each other, what would happen? Could multiple omnipotent beings really co-exist? Wouldn't the mere existance of the other render them omnipotent? Would there be some sort of rock and hard place cosmic conundrum if one figured he could do anything, including eliminating the other while the other figured he could anything, including rendering himself immune to the other. I wasted a pleasant Virginia drive on this question. I'd like my sanity back, please. |

The reason this makes no sense is because the notion of classical omnipotence is completely insane.
