I thought those were the good old days. Kids were clean-cut and respectful of their elders. Everyone in society knew their place and no one got "uppity". What was good for General Motors was good for America, which was "One nation under God". Families stayed together no matter what. There were no societal ills to speak of. We should strive to return to that paradise.
