The quote that he derives that excrement from:
"Why are Lapps white? Man began with a dark skin; the sunlight makes witamin D in his skin, and if he had been white in Africa, it would make too much. But in the north, man needs to let in all the sunlight there is to make witamin D, and nautral selction favored those with whiter skins."


Quick, easy explanation:
Wearing no clothes is a GOOD reason for having dark skin! Otherwise, too much vitamin D is made. White skin is good if you wear lots, since you wouldn't make enough!
