4th Generation Atheist:

Quote:
I was talking to a liberal theist friend who intends to go to the Godless March, with a sign that says something along the lines of "A Catholic for Atheists' Rights", to demonstrate the support of mainstream theists for some of the issues raised by the march.
Yet another example of why it's VERY BAD STRATEGY to trash religion in general.

Question

MOJO-JOJO:"Historical Myth: God made Man
Historical Evidence: Man made God"

Or even:

Myth: God made Man; FACT: Man made God
[short, sweet and to the point]

also: 'Debunk myths'

Yep. Me, I'll be pleased and proud to march alongside my friend, in support of our
pluralist society.

I hope nobody brings anti-religious or "arrogant" banners. My wife will be leaving her shirt that Penn Jillette signed "Fuck God" at home .

The messages we want to send at the March, in my opinion, as a board member of two supporting organizations, are 1) that non-religious people are a sizable minority; 2) Godless people are "normal" without horns or chips on their shoulders; and 3) Godless people live happy, normal lives.
