Thumbs up

Palom,
Not to my knowledge: I think it was an optical
phenomenon only.

Most astronomical observatories would not have been doing observations during the daytime; however, there may have been someone counting sunspots that day.

However, if this effect was due to the Earth's wobbling, then this effect would be apparent on the night side of the Earth as the stars wobbling. Which was not observed.

Also, a wobbling Sun would produce wobbling shadows. Which also was not observed.

I'm not sure what leonarde means by "optical
phenomenon"; that seems to me like a fancy way of conceding that it was a false perception, as skeptics like myself and Malaclypse have claimed.

(Added comment about shadows)

What's this about a bearded man? Try as I might, I just keep seeing a small dog. Or perhaps, a cat.

What is clear from the at-a-distance witnesses cited is: even those NOT staring expectantly at the sun saw something extraordinary that day...

Witness. Singular. Every time you misrepresent the facts you reduce your already abysmal
credibility. There is only one at-a-distance witness testimony represented.
Two: one at 11 miles and one at 25 miles.

Cheers!
