Default I knew it last week, on 24.

Sheri would be back to save her ex-husband. Sure, I didn't know it a while back, but was thinking it atleast possible.

I'm so afraid of a cliff-hanger seeing 24 is on for next year.

Nonsense! Sheri is behind the plot. Why else would she be entering the apartment of the man who forged the recording, calling for him by name? Unless you mean to state that she's created this situation *just* so she can turn around and "save" David from it, and win back his tust? Bah. She's a cold-hearted snake, a backstabber, a power-grabber. She had a hand in all this, and will probably get a pretty penny from the Caspian oil interests for it.

What, no faith?

I stand by my prediction. The question, I think remains is who is behind this all?

A scriptwriter's sock puppet!

I like the show, I'm just disappointed because my three favorite characters are either dead or suffered a severe head trauma. The only female character worthy of being identified with, the fatherly and noble George and the sexy dude from the middle-east are all gone.

Poot.

I LOVE the preview for next week. Ends with Sheri Palmer yammering, Jack yelling "Shut up!", and him shooting at someone offscreen. I can at least dream that it's Sheri he's shooting at

I think Sheri was involved in the plot, but only to destroy it from the inside....just like she told David all those hours ago.

She knows the hacker by name and is there to get him because she knows he's one of the few links to the conspiracy.

I have faith in her. She was never this evil in her past life as Larry Sanders' assistant. But, she was this smart.

Well, I think it's obvious she was going to return somewhere. She wasn't just going to be dismissed and then disappear. During the cabinet meeting, every time a witness was about to be called by the vice president, I kept thinking it would be Sheri.

My prediction is that Peter Kingsley will turn out to be Kim's boss who is now wanted for the murder of his wife. Thats the only way that I can think of for Kim to be ordered to shoot someone by Jack over the phone. Besides when Jack talked to her on the phone she told him that the officer was taking her back to the house to collect her things.

I think Sherri is certainly involved but her position is unclear. She is power hungry and I doubt she put all her cards on one side of the conspiracy. I would bet she has files on both sides to cover her ass and end up on top no matter how it goes down.

I think the most compelling and underutilized storyline from the last 2 episodes is the involvement of Chappell and the VP. What is the connection there? Is the VP a puppet or is he a player?

I was kinda thrown by all that.

At first I assumed that the VP is the player and Chappell one of his lackeys. But, I was surprised that (1) the VP mentioned Chappell's message re:Jack during the trial and (2) Chappell conference calling Palmer w/Jack.

Was this done in hopes of making Palmer seem more irrational and clinging to the one desperate hope that Jack holds? Or was it presenting all the information, fairly and accurately, for the Cabinet members to digest?
