Magus, your god could have wowed them with a miracle to convince them to change their ways, or controlled their minds to stop them sinning. But he preferred to kill them and watch them burn in hell, like that was somehow better.

Debating with you is really pointless. I try to explain things and you just give sarcastic arguments right back. Why do you bother? You obviously don't give a crap about God if He exists, and you certaintly aren't worth my time since all you do is ridicule and make rediculous opposing arguments. So why do you even reply?

No, I mean see a doctor, or ask the police for protection if she feared for her life.

In ancient times, it did warrent the death penalty, It was a severe crime. Society has gotten sick and its common now.
Why is it so severe? Is it on the same level as murder? And society was ancient and depraved back then - there was no crime for raping a woman, according to your 'holy' bible.

I do feel adultery is bad, just not as bad as you do.

Oh the Irony! I was trying not to be sarcastic, but nothing is good enough for almighty Magus! Besides, if I'm on Ignore, how will Magus know if I've changed to satisfy his standards?

(I know Magus won't read this, but no big deal)

Sarcastic according to Magus - any argument he can't rationally defeat.

Magus, there haven't been any posts ruder then yours. Your also not seeing the big picture. Your calling society sick, just because our standards are not the same as ancient times. I hope you get stoned to death for eating a cheeseburger or bacon.

Times change... ideas change... people change.

Yes he has. Iv'e tried to explain and answer the questions presented, but I just get sarcastic comments or ridicule. People here ask questions, I answer them. You know you aren't gonna like the answer since you think its all fake, so don't ask it. Would save us both time, and I don't like wasting my time trying to answer questions, just to get stupid comments in return. No one here cares to learn about anything I have to say, you just want to make fun of it and me.

What a crapload of BS. Read your freakin' Bible:

Exodus 4:21
And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.

God hardened Pharaohs heart, not just once but ELEVEN TIMES.

Quote:
The Pharaoh even said he would give in if God stopped them. So what did God do?
And every time he gave in God Hardened Pharaoh's Heart.

Quote:
He stopped them as the Pharaoh asked. And what did the Pharaoh do?
The Pharaoh said he would let them go until God hardened the Pharaoh's heart.

Quote:
Said, ah nevermind - not letting the people go.
After God hardened the Pharaoh's heart.

Oh, violating free will is a taboo for God... unless He's busy hardening the Pharaoh's heart, that is .
