Genesis 3:14
I am wondering what our resident biblical literalists make of the fact there are flying snakes?
See this CNN article and video for details. Surely: Quote:
Perhaps a mention of this snake also deserves a place in the evolution forum - it looks like an intermediary thing is going on here to me. [ August 09, 2002: Message edited by: missus_gumby ]
|

In addition, sea snakes spend no time on the ground at all, and there is very little dust for them to eat in the ocean.

Honestly! You people are going to take ALL the fun out of being a christian.
It's in the bible, and the bible wouldn't lie. There are no flying snakes. Or sea snakes. Or tree snakes... |

That would probably explain why they are nearing extinction. Boro Nut |

Surely: ...cannot be true, since we now know at least one 'serpent' uses more than one method to move around. Perhaps a mention of this snake also deserves a place in the evolution forum - it looks like an intermediary thing is going on here to me. Please. The snake is not flying, it is gliding. Cats will glide for a while when tossed out of very high buildings. |
